I've always felt fairly confident with my writing skills. What I haven't felt comfortable with is adding fluff to a paper. I'm an analytical person who is most in her element with the facts, straight. I don't do well putting them in paper form with a required page length. I know that is why I struggled so much with my paper. You want the facts, I can do that. You want something entertaining, I can do that. You want a mixture, you got the wrong person. My brain just can't switch from one to the other like other people. There's a medical reason for that, but it's personal and I'd rather not share.
I don’t really feel like I’ve improved. I feel like I’ve stayed the same during this class. My educational/research papers will continue to be strictly factual and will most likely be too short as a result. I can work hours upon hours on the paper (like I did with this one) and it will still fall short of what the professor wants. My mind just does not work that way. I still think I do fairly well in my classes, so I’m not too worried about not coming up to par. Like many people out there, I’d rather be graded for what I can do than what I can’t.
Goodbye everyone. It has been a wonderful experience.

Day of Being Half Done
One paper down and only one to go!
I finally finished my paper for Writer Comp II and am now moving on to the last 2 pages for my Honors A&P II course. My A&P II paper hasn't given my any trouble so far so I'm not too worried about that. I will most likely finish it today or tomorrow then submit it to the Writing Center for a final review before turning it in.
I am so happy this term is ending. I may enjoy my Comp II professor and my fellow classmates, but I am so happy being done writing for a bit. Research papers just aren't my forte. I like a paper that is more me than resources.

Day in My Life
I'm feeling suffocated with all the work. My 2 classes are slowly drawing to an end but I feel that I am racing to finish. I have yet to finish a paper. I've submitted my drafts to others for review, even used the writing center, and, having implemented all ideas, my papers still fall short. I am not good at writing lengthy papers. I struggle and struggle. The paper on postpartum depression is harder than my paper on the female reproductive tract to write. I thought it would be the other way around, but there just isn't a lot of concrete information on PPD. There are tons of books from personal standpoints, but not even a handful from an educational. I'm stuck.
My husband actually has a day off work, so I plan on printing off everything I've done on the PPD paper and closeting myself in my bedroom. I feel so nauseous and worried that I will not meet the required length. That is all I really worry about these day. My other paper is so much easier to write and I have 2 weeks left to write and make revisions for it as opposed to the 1 week left for the PPD. I'm worried...
